Big data has been a rising a growing interest in both scientific and industrial fields for its potential value. However, before employing big data technology into massive applications, a basic but also principle topic should be investigated: security and privacy. The computer system follows the input, processing and output model. Input is done through devices and then processed through the CPU. Thus, the results of the information are produced. In the relationship between the data and cloud computing, the data is stored on external and remote storage units. On the other hand, in the computer system, the data is stored internally or locally. Hence, Cloud Computing provides the flexibility to the use the computing resources and storage capacity according to the user requirement. There are several benefits of cloud; one of them that are drawing attention nowadays is group data sharing, in which the data is shared within the group, this feature is highly praised in cloud. Despite of being so popular and flexible many organization are not keen on adapting, it is because of security. Security is said to be the primary concern while sharing the data. It is well known fact that research activity requires deep study of previous as well as existing approach; therefore, considering these factors in mind in this paper we have performed extensive survey of existing system based on various classifications. Several scheme such as PRE and others have drawn a lot of attention in providing security while sharing the data in-group. Here we have observed that PRE has captured a lot of attention for securing the data sharing in CC (Cloud Computing).Hence we examined the several security model and compared based on the various metrics, moreover extension as well as potential application of the PRE has been extensively discussed. However, still there are various issue, which requires further investigation.
