Abstract

Manufacturing is the backbone of any industrialized nation. Manufacturing is derived from the Latin word manufactus, means made by hand. In modern context it involves making products from raw material by using various processes, by making use of hand tools, machinery or even computers. It is therefore a study of the processes required to make parts and to assemble them in machines. The purpose of this research work is to investigate optimum values of SR and MRR in turning of bright bar (EN24T) using CNC turning lathe machine. Thus, the surface roughness and material removal rate is planned to be measured and observed in the experiment
