Title

Hybrid Securities- a combination of Equity and Debt

Abstract

A hybrid security is a single financial instrument that combines both the features of debt and equity. The present study is carried out with the main objective of understanding the features of Hybrid securities and also to analyze the key factors of related to hybrid securities. It emphasizes on risk, liquidity, complexity, unpopularity and volatility of Hybrid securities in incorporating in investment portfolio. SPSS version of 22.0 has been employed for tabulation and analysis of data.
