Abstract

This paper examines the use of remote sensing and GIS mapping of urban sprawl (2001&2014) and landuse/ landcover change detection by using LANDSAT-7(ETM) and LANDSAT -8(OLI) Satelite imageries of may 2001 and January 2014 were used respectiviely with ground resolution of 30 meter. so as to detect chnage that has been taken place in this status between these periods.
