The main purpose of data mining is to extract the knowledge from a dataset. The knowledge that is been discovered needs to be exact/ correct/ precise and also good in quality and performance. Many of the data mining algorithms find patterns that help in knowledge discovery yet being precise and reliable, they lack to be interesting. The main concept of the patterns to be interesting (interesting means the patterns that appears frequently in the dataset) is for the efficient decision making in any circumstances. There are many interest measures in the data mining and are being suggested by the researchers in various prospects of data mining in order to determine various visualization and analytics. This project is the implementation of a new interest measure name by “Rule Power Factor”. According to the observation and experiments, RPC is determined to be more precise, informative and can act as a superset of ‘Confidence’ measure.
