In several applications of computer vision and image processing, the idea of the processing starts with object detection and subsequently tracking, if the need arises. Many great algorithms have been developed for object detection and tracking, including color segmentation, edge tracking and many more. This project is video-based recognition method to recognize non-cooperating individuals in video who expose themselves in front of the camera. Face detection and Recognition are the two techniques. The face detection is performed on real time acquired image. If the face is recognized from the database, the door opens else an alert is generated by sending the picture of the intruder on the e-mail.
