The latest technology discovered for vehicle sharing is called carpooling which has contributed in making travelling convenient and efficient to a common individual. It has also known to be as car-sharing in which a person can travel to their desired destination while sharing the vehicle along with the expenses. As a result, fuel costs, toll taxes and even the stress of driving a vehicle can be reduced to a great extent. As a consequence, Carpooling is environment friendly and tends to reduce the environmental pollution. It also helps to reduce traffic congestion, and other poisonous gases such as Carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide etc. Even parking spaces can be saved. Our project is an Android based application with a dedicated website which allows passengers to get together with other same route people and plan out journey using the easy to use UI of our Mobile based Android application by signing into it.
