There are heavy technological changes in the business which leads to fall in the health of the natural environment. This environmental change has induced the organization to disclose the environmental impact of its business activities to the shareholders and stakeholders of the company. The significance of environmental reporting is growing because of growing of environmental problems, economic, communal and technological expansion. This paper is an attempt to find out the several environmental degradations due to the business activities and their treatment process. In this paper the concept and principles of environmental reporting and corporate environmental reporting mechanism has been clarified and the way company taking part in the disclosure of the environmental issues have been observed. On the basis of all this theoretical aspects a picture of which shows the current position of environmental related issues in Indian company has been drawn.
