Title

Dumbbell shape micro strip patch antenna enclosed into opposite C shape structure for ku band applications

Abstract

This article presents a study on parametric analysis of dumbbell shape microstrip patch antenna consisting of two opposite C shaped parasitic patch suitable for wireless communications. Size improvement technique is used for the designing of four micro strip patch antennas through which we obtained proposed antenna with an impedance bandwidth of 22.14%, gain of 1.4dBi and radiation efficiency of 85% which is suitable for wireless communication systems for ku band.
