Title

Relationship between Attitude towards Education and Academic Achievement of the Undergraduate Students of Dibrugarh District

Abstract

Attitude is a psychological construct or a mental and emotional entity that inheres in or characterizes a person. In education, student’s positive attitude has a positive influence in their scholastic achievement. It determines their study involvement, hard work and perseverance in turn resulted in successful academic life. Education works as a key ingredient of individual and social development. Good attitude towards education always help a student to develop themselves. In the present study, the researcher made an attempt to study the relationship between attitude towards education and academic achievement of the undergraduate students of District. Here, the researcher also made an attempt to study the correlation between attitude towards education and academic achievement. A sample of 300(152 girls, 148 boys) undergraduate level students were selected by using random sampling technique.
