Title

Secure Routing for Manet Connected IOT Systems Using Fuzzy Inference Systems

Abstract

Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) will be fully distributed as a ubiquitous autonomous network in which smart devices can play an important role in future industrial internet Internet communication. However, because of the lack of infrastructure and centralized management capabilities, MANET is exposed to numerous security threats.. Some internal mobile nodes in a network with limited resources can affect the routing mechanism to trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) attack and perform the wrong type of packet forwarding. To solve this problem A trusted Pattern Recognition (TRS-PD) routing has been derived, which identifies the destination for packet storage in advance by monitoring and analyzing behavior in the route detection phase. In this article, we perform the sensitivity analysis of TRS-PD by changing the values of various parameters in different network scenarios when there are three packet drop attacks. This task also summarizes the attack pattern detection mechanisms used in the TRS-PD, the trust model, and the routing mechanism that handles the parties that follow a specific attack pattern with other attackers. Experiments performed with Network Simulator-2 show the correct selection of parameter values for various network scenarios using fuzzy inference System
