In this paper, an attempt has been taken to study and optimization of welding process on aluminum from manual to automatic. Tungsten inert gas welding or in other word known as Gas tungsten arc welding is one of the welding processes among the other welding technique. This type of welding is highly used to join the ferrous and non-ferrous metal. To improve TIG welding quality on Aluminum (Al) an automated system has been developed, by which welding speed and time can be control during welding process. Welding of Al has been performed in effect of welding speed and welding current on the tensile strength of the weld joint has been investigated for weld joint. The main objective of this research is to investigate the location of the weld joint to improve welding accuracy without skilled worker by automation of TIG welding process on aluminums on aluminum based on 4-axis stepper motor by using Solid-Works software.
