Artificial Neural Network(ANN) is a nonparametric statistical modeling procedure known for its capacity to process nonlinear relationships. Multiple linear regression (MLR), also known simply as multiple regression, is a statistical technique that uses several explanatory variables to predict the outcome of a response variable. ANN and MLR both have their own advantages and disadvantages. In this paper a comparative study has been done between ANN and MLR.
