Title

Design and Realization of Sense Electronic Units for Ka-Band Cloud RADAR Transmitter

Abstract

The aim of the project is to Design and Realize Sense Electronics Unit for Ka-Band Cloud Radar Transmitter. The main function of sense electronics include the following Signal Conditioning Level Translations Analog to Digital Conversion Monitoring and Control The Hardware shall be built using high-end FPGA/Microcontroller along with interface devices. Ethernet Communication shall be established with the Central Radar Controller for Monitoring and Controlling of Status and Interlocks. The Sense Electronics shall be immune to EMI/EMC Effects, Noise and Interference which shall occur due to High Frequency and High Power. Firmware shall be capable of taking Analog and Digital Sense Signals like RF Forward Power, RF Reverse Power, Antenna/Load Status, Temperature, etc and decide based on threshold limits for interlocks generation.
