To generate a summary lots of efforts have been tak-en in past years for the events such as Meetings, Sports-clips, Pictorial Storylines, Movies, Social me-dia contents. Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a basic Automatic text summarization application which goals to summarize a given text into a com-pressed form. Due to the fast growth in multimedia data transmission across the Internet, it demands multi-modal summarization (MMS) from the asyn-chronous multimedia data that is the combination of text, image, audio, or video. This paper describes an MMS framework that utilizes the techniques of NLP, speech processing and OCR technique to examine the elaborative information contained in multi-modal sta-tistics and to enhance the aspects of multimedia sum-marization.
