Abstract
A child is considered to be a national asset.In a civilized society the growth, development and welfare of the entire community depends on the health and wellbeing of children.However,by virtue of their innocence children are at a higher risk of being subjected to different forms of exploitation.As a result of which most of these unfortunate children end up committing crimes.Therefore,this paper seeks to shed light on the various factors responsible for juvenile delinquency and the law applicable to such juveniles with special mention to changes made in the law after Nirbhaya case.
