Title

SERVICE QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION FOR HOTEL INDUSTRY IN PUDUCHERRY

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction in Puducherry Luxury hotels, survey questionnaire was constructed with service quality items based on customer satisfaction . The Data were collected from 150 guests of Five star hotels in Puducherry in 2019. Analysis results indicate that consistency, receptiveness, guarantee, and understanding significantly impact on the customer satisfaction. The study implies that service quality plays an important role as a driver for higher customer satisfaction level in hotel service. The Management would focus on consistency, receptiveness, guarantee, and understanding to achieve high degree of customer satisfaction which leads to customer loyalty and business profit.
