Traditionally structured programming was used for the software development was simple and successful for small scale software systems. The challenges in software development have been increased with the increasing size and complexity of the software, up gradation after deployment, increased cost and increasing demand of reusable software. Component based software engineering is new paradigm of developing software systems from pre existing components and developing components separately, assembling them into a software system.
