There is vast enhancement in agriculture sector worldwide i.e. different tools and technologies are being used in agriculture now a days. New technology called Internet of Things (IoT) is used to improve efficiency, productivity, global market and to reduce human intercession, time and cost. IoT is the network of devices which transfer the information without human involvement. Hence, to gain high efficiency, IoT works in synergy with agriculture to obtain smart farming. This paper focuses on use of IoT for agricultural benefits in rural India and also involve one experiment carried out in lab for fertilizer content detection using near infrared laser absorption with its appropriate results.
