Abstract
This paper is a review paper about various techniques used for character and face recognition applications. This paper describes about the performance of different technologies for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and face recognition, in various conditions like low quality image, distorted image etc. We know that as the quality of the image varies, the performance of technologies changes. That’s why we discuss all the possible distractions for various conditions.
