Abstract: ICT has changed the conventional techniques for library exercises and administrations giving new measurements to instructing, learning and research in higher instructive establishments. With the assistance of ICT apparatuses, it is conceivable to store, recover, spread and sort out data by making sites and databases. Information is currently distributed both electronically and by print making it available to clients as indicated by their requests. It is essential to evaluate the ICT applications in library with regards to changing client needs. In this way, the investigation intends to break down the benefits and potential chances of ICT in academic libraries.
