With the advancement of Technology, the need for power demand is increasing day by day. with the increment in power demand, generation has to be increased .So the losses also tends to increase. In order to meet the demand the losses has to be reduced by controlling the power flow and regulating the bus voltage, FACTS controller in Electrical power systems. Thus improving the performance of the system. After reducing the transmission losses, real power losses has to be allocated fairly without affecting the neighboring participant’s o that fair allocation can be done by using loss allocation methods. Here in this paper Lava Heron optimization algorithm is used for optimal location of TCSC and is tested for standard IEEE 30 bus system with MATLAB / SIMULINK Environment and also postage Stamp and power flow tracing methods are used for transmission loss allocation for the test systems using MATLAB/SIMULINK Environment
