An electronic library is a collection of large and diverse repositories of digital objects and electronic information, which can be accessed by a large number of geographically, distributed users. Digital library, one of the most recent development in Library and Information Science, which help its user to seek information through web browser. Its supported service and a place where the information is keep in digital format and can be retrieved over a networks. Since last one-decade researcher are focusing on the users of Digital Library to develop more efficient and effective system to provide quality service to users. And use of metadata elements and social media features such as social tags and recommendations to support searching, browsing and navigation of Digital Information. The aim of this paper focusing digital library advantages, challenges. And provide literature on Digital Library with respect to its users that may be helpful for future research.
