Abstract
Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSMs) are used in many applications that require rapid torque re-sponse and high performance operation.In this paper the mathematical modeling of PMSM drive is done, which was used in the speed control of PMSM drive. Speed con-trol of PMSM drive is done by using Vector PI, vector PD and vector PID. The corresponding responses are also shown.
