Title

WASTE MINIMIZATION IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE PRODUCTIVITY

Abstract

Just-In-Time (JIT) has been a very popular operations strategy partly because of its success in the manufacturing industry. Various benefits, for example improved in operations efficiency, inventory reduction, and faster response, will be studied widely. Therefore, the successful implementation of JIT is vital to many companies. The main objective of this research is to study various issues surrounding implementation of JIT for a Manufacturing Industry to minimize the waste. This study also provides evidences for supporting the benefits of employing JIT. Semi structured interviews will be organizing and thus relevant data may collected and possible suggestion may provided.
