ABSTRACT: Financial inclusion addresses the constraints that exclude people or businesses from accessing formal financial services such as savings or current account, bank loan, insurance, mutual funds and stock etc. The absence of these services limits employment opportunities, financial savings, investment and long term growth. If an aspiring women entrepreneur finds it hard to secure a bank loan to start her business because she does not have the necessary identification papers or he village does not have any bank branch. It hinders the spirit of entrepreneurship and hampers the socio-economic growth. Here where microfinance bridges the gap. The present study is to measure the implications of these microfinance institutions on the performance of women entrepreneur. An empirical study is conducted where structured questionnaire is prepared and distributed among the women members of selected areas of Bangalore district.
