Penetration Testing is one of the most part of organization’s information security. With the rise of internet and all the industries are also connecting or integrating their businesses with the internet to get more and more customers. This paper highlights some of the most important DDOS attack methods and tools and simulate an attack over a website running on a local server. It includes the implementation of DDOS attacks and how to use them and create botnets to attack some website. Different types of attacks i.e. HTTP Flood, ICMP Flood and TCP SYN Flood can be implemented using the tools which we have used in the paper. This paper can be used for reference for penetration testing the DDOS attacks on some website or webserver.
