Health care resources include materials, people employed, amenities, finances, and other facilities that are rendered to meet the health care demands of the general population. WHO aims at Universal health coverage to everyone and everywhere and targets to reach 1 billion populations by 2023. The findings from recent studies shows an increase in life expectancy from 67.9 years in 2010-2014 to 69.1 years in 2018.A qualitative study was done through semi structured interview schedule on 8 samples to explore the factors contributing to utilisation of health care resources pertaining to mediclaim services. Non probability convenient sampling method was used in this study. The study findings identified the facilitators and barriers concerning with utilisation of such services.
