Water is the mixture of life, a valuable endowment of nature to mankind and an enormous number of various species living on the earth. Water assets containing surface water, ground water and Oceanside waters support all living things including people. Ground water resources are experiencing an expanding risk of pollution originating from urbanization, modern advancement and farming exercises. The global water pollution due to the increase in number of industries is a serious problem faced by the modern world. Discharge of the effluents in the receiving water is the most important reason for water contamination. These toxins discover their approach to oceanic biological ecosystem for example, waterways, lakes and lakes which represent a hazard to the health of human and environment. Practically all industries release water containing wastes in one stage or another during their manufacturing process. Noyyal River is significantly tributary of river Cauvery has been a standout amongst the most important river of Tamilnadu. The river Noyyal is greatly contaminated in industrial and urban waste. The present investigation analyzed the contamination dimension of Noyyal River so as to make a database on the zone-wise contamination dimension of the stream. Hence the study has been carried out to analyze the physicochemical parameters of the Noyyal river water.
