Title

Synthesis and characterization of some metal complexes of bis-imines of vanillin

Abstract

A Schiff’s base was synthesized by the condensation of vanillin with hydrazine hydrate. These bis-imines used as ligands for the synthesis of metal complexes with transition metals Cu(II), Fe(II), Zn(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Mn(II) and Cd(II). All the synthesized metal complexes were characterized by different spectroscopic methods and screened for antibacterial activities.
