The aim of the study was to assess the quality of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus dietary management information available on various websites in the form of blog posts and compare it with the International Diabetes Federation guidelines in order to check the authenticity of the information provided. With the emergence of blogs in the world of technology, critical assessment of Dietary management information of Diabetes Mellitus available online is of utmost importance. A literature search on the Google search engine was conducted between January and February 2019 in India using certain key words and content analysis was the method to assess the quality of information provided. Most of the blogs were authored by Individuals with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and a lot of the information provided was not as per the IDF guidleines. Though there is abundant of information related to dietary management of type 2 Diabetes, the quality of information provided is not up to the mark and there is scope for further research in this area.
