ਵੇਦਾਂਤ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ: ਗਿਆਨੀ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੋਠਾਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਕੋਣ
ਧਰਮ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਜਿਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਜਾਂ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਹੈ। ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਵ ਉਹ ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਜੋ ਜਗਤ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਘਟ-ਘਟ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ। ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਲਪੁਰਖ, ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ, ਖੁਦਾ, ਗੋਪਾਲ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਰ, ਪਰਵਦਗਾਰ, ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ, ਈਸ਼ਵਰ,ਰਾਮ, ਰਹੀਮ, ਅੱਲਾ, ਅਕਾਲਪੁਰਖ ਆਦਿ ਨਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਗਭਗ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਖਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਹੋਂਦ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕੇਵਲ ਸਾਂਖ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਹੋਂਦ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਹਥਲੇ ਪਰਚੇ ਵਿਚ ਅਸੀਂ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਦਾਂਤ ਵਿਚ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੋਠਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੜਚੋਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਅਧਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ-ਵੇਦਾਂਤ ਨਿਰਣੈ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
