Title

Closed Loop Control of BLDC Motor Drive for Standalone PV Array fed to the Water pumping System Employing Zeta Converter

Abstract

This paper proposes a straightforward, efficient, and economical brushless dc (BLDC) motor drive for solarphotovoltaic (SPV) array-fed water pumping system. A zeta convertor is used to extract the most available power from the SPV array. The projected management algorithmic rule eliminates phase current sensors and adapts a fundamental switchingof the voltage source inverter (VSI), therefore avoiding the power losses because of high frequency change. No further control or electronic equipment is employed for speed control of the BLDC motor. The speed is controlled through a variable dc link voltage of VSI. An appropriate control of zeta converter through the incremental conductance maximum power point tracking (INC-MPPT) algorithm offers soft starting of the BLDC motor. The proposed water pumping system is meant and modeled such that the performance isn't affected underdynamic conditions. The quality of proposed system at sensible in operation conditions is incontestable through simulation results exploitation MATLAB/Simulink
