Present research paper will give the chance to learn about history as well as current trends of English language learning. Additionally, in this paper list of English language learning methods name has been listed which teacher can use it in their classroom with limited resources. It is expected that English language teachers learn and apply in their classrooms. With the effort of the teacher, the student can get the chance to learn to English the most enjoyable way. With the combination of creativity, science and technology teacher can make the difference in teaching. In the first section of this paper one will get the idea and information related to historical trends such as Grammar Translation Method, Direct Method, Audio-Lingual Method, Communicative Language Teaching and Content and Language Integrate Learning. The second section focuses on emerging trends. Besides, it also provides detailed information about Blended Learning, Flipped Learning, and Embodied Learning etc.
