Title

METAPHYSICAL QUEST IN HERMAN MELVILLE’S NOVELS

Abstract

Abstract The world is full of ambition and thirsty fullness. But it is not even fulfilled by any individual. Writers like Melville, it has been glittered by their own writings. The present research paper has shown the metaphysical elements are to abound in Typee, Moby Dick, and Billy Budd. In the present study from the selected novels, metaphysical elements are picturised. Usually, man versus nature is common. But Melville has differently thought that Man’s quest is to be for God’s congregation is shown.
