Title

DEVELOPMENT OF A MULTIPURPOSE SOLAR EMERGENCY KIT FOR HIGH ALTITUDE TREKKING.

Abstract

Solar energy is the most abundant source of energy in the world. This is related to the trekking based on solar energy. While climbing on mountains, it is difficult to have supply of electricity throughout their travel. So a novel development is required to generate electricity from renewable sources. In general the trekkers only carry oxygen cylinders, food and medicine in different packages. With the lack of electricity there may be a problem with the communication. Due to this they may encounter the danger conditions because they don’t have any data regarding environmental and atmospheric conditions. Even the rescue team don’t know their exact position which results in delay for rescue operation. It is proposed to fabricate a new solar emergency kit which can be used by especially mountaineers trekking in remote areas or high altitude areas. Solar emergency kit is an innovative carry on suitcase that makes life easier and smoother. Carrying luggage is the main difficulty faced by each and every passenger. Here we try to solve the dragging of luggage difficulty and also providing better security and intelligent features that suitable for modern era. This kit comprising of various useful devices like: rechargeable unit, charging circuit, GPS, temperature sensor, and LED lighting system assembled in a compact manner.
