The basic aim of this study deals with formulation and evaluation of bilayer tablet of Antihypertensive (amlodipine) and Antihyperlipidimic (atorvastatin). The Amlodipine and atorvastatin was used in treatment of hypertension and high cholesterol. Bilayer tablet was prepared by wet granulation method. Total 9 batches were prepared and granules before compression were subjected for evaluation of flow properties. All the parameters were within limits as per Indian pharmacopeia which shows good flow properties. Drug and excipient compatibility was carried out by FTIR spectroscopy. In-vitro dissolution study was performed which shows batch B as a optimized batch because of low concentration of polymers in formulation. The developed formulation was found to be stable during the stability studies of 3 months.
