Title

STATIC HIGH GAIN IMPROVED SEPIC converter FOR PV APPLICATIONS

Abstract

This paper presents performance analysis of modified SEPIC dc-dc converter with low input voltage and wide output voltage range. DC-DC converters are needed to raise output voltage of the photovoltaic module when developing photovoltaic systems linked to the grid system. The most common design of DCDC converters is a high-gain static converter used to raise photovoltaic output voltage and achieve high conversion efficiency. A SEPIC converter topology is one of the types of converter used. However, If the duty cycle is 0.82, standard Topologies of DC-DC converter like SEPIC converters can only be used boost the input voltage via five times. The voltage of input of converters must improve above 10 times with the intention of satisfy inverter’s dc input V. In view of this, Modified SEPIC converter is designed and simulated.
