Title

SYNTHESIS OF SOME NEW 2-ISOTHIAZOLINE DERIVATIVES OF CHALCONES AND THEIR ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY

Abstract

The Isothiazoline derivatives can be synthesized from the chalcones by the action of hydroxyl amine hydrochloride, followed by the reaction with phosphorous penta sulphide. All these synthesized derivatives of Isothiazoline have been screened for antibacterial activity and characterized by spectral studies.
