Title

PHYSICO-CHEMICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF RHAMNOCITRIN-3-O-β-D-GLUCOPYRANOSIDE ISOLATED FROM LAWSONIA INERMIS

Abstract

A new flavonol glycoside was isolated from the flowers of Lawsonia inermis (Lythraceae). It has been isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of methanolic extract of the flowers of plant. The structure of this compound was determined as Rhamnocitrin -3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside on the basis of UV, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectral data.
