IMPACT OF STRUCTURED TEACHING PROGRAMME ON REMEDIAL MEASURES OF ADOLESCENT MENSTRUAL IRREGULARITIES: A STUDY IN NARSINGI VILLAGE, HYDERABAD

Abstract

Abstract: Objectives: To assess the knowledge of the Adolescent girls regarding menstrual irregularities and their remedial measures among adolescent girls. Methodology: A quantitative research approach with pre experimental, One group pre test post test design was used. The study was conducted by collecting data from Adolescent girls residing in the Narsingi village at Hyderabad, using purposive sampling technique. Results: There was a significant association between knowledge and demographic variables of adolescent girls at p<0.05 level. Conclusion: The findings of the study implied that there was an association between knowledge and demographic variables of adolescent girls.
