Introduction: Sandhigatavata specially occurs in Vriddhavastha due to Dhatukshya, in which Vataprakopa is inevitable naturally. In modern medical science it is correlated with Osteoarthritis. In Ayurveda classics there are lot of drugs for the Sandhigatavata, Upanaha is one among them. Here Shatapushpadi Upanaha were prepared and microbiological study was done at regular intervals for the stability testing. Aims: To carried out stability study of Shatapushpadi Upanaha with respect to its microbial profile. Materials and Methods: Sample of Shatapushpadi Upanaha were prepared and stability study were done to check contamination of the microbes at regular intervals. Results: Every time sample was subjected to the microbiological study from prior first use to the date of last use of the Shatapushpadi Upanaha. Microorganisms (bacterial or fungal) were found in some sample of Shatapushpadi Upanaha. Discussion: Hence the present Study was done to observe the stability study of Shatapushpadi Upanaha with respect to microbial contamination of sample prepared and row drug preserved in different climatic and temperature conditions. Thus a baseline microbial profile was studied monthly for 05 month. Conclusion: In microbiological study of the Shatapushpadi Upanaha there were growth found of microorganisms (bacterial or fungal), till 9th April 2019 i.e. 05 months from the date of preparation i.e. 05th November 2018.
