Title

INFLUENCE OF IRON AS A DOPENT IN COBALT OXIDE ELECTRODE FOR THE APPLICATION OF HIGH PERFORMANCE SPECIFIC CAPACITANCE WITH EXCELLENT CYCLE STABILITY

Abstract

The FeCo3O4 thin films electrodes were prepared on both copper substrate and porous copper substrates by Electrodeposition technique. XRD pattern of FeCo3O4 thin films affirm the polycrystalline nature with a cubic structure. The crystallite size of FeCo3O4 film increases with FeCo3O4 film deposited on porous copper substrate. FESEM micrographs of FeCo3O4 films show the formation of spherical shaped particles. The CV curves reveals the pseudocapacitive behaviour of FeCo3O4 thin film electrodes. The ultimate specific capacitance value (~761 F/g) is observed in FeCo3O4 thin film electrode having their scan rate 10 mV/s.
