This review article introduces the analysis of structural behavior of externally strengthened reinforced concrete beams using fiber reinforced polymer with the help of Abaqus CAE Software. This study discuss about of externally strengthened reinforced concrete beams using Carbon fiber reinforced polymer and Glass fiber reinforced polymers. Finding a cost effective FRP strengthening method is another important parameter of this study .The study of effect of different types of loading condition on the strengthened beam also taken. The achievement in flexural strength, shear strength and deflection control of simply supported RC beam using externally bonded with carbon fiber reinforced polymer and glass fiber reinforced polymer is also considered
