This paper aims to explore and understand the extent to which operations research can form a part of a person’s endeavours in the world of fantasy sports. This paper delves into three sports; namely, American Football and Soccer. The industry in question is fantasy sports, while the interface between fantasy sports and operations research would be factors which affect the outcome of the number of points gained by a player. The purpose of research is to find out how extensive the application of operations research is in this field. Qualitative research has been utilised in this paper. The findings conclude a significant application of operations research in fantasy sports.
