Status of Oxygen levels in Pimpri Lake

Abstract
Lake is a lentic water body it has its own characteristics. Every parameter of this type of ecosystem has its own importance. Dissolved oxygen is one of such parameter which is vital for the survival of plant and animal life in the lake its concentrations variations causes very serious effect on the self purification of the lakes and other water bodies. In this investigation DO levels were monitored for twelve months in the year 2017 from January 2017 to December 2017. In the month of November the DO levels were high as 8 mg/L and lowest in the month of May 4.1 mg/L.
