Title

ASSESMENT OF E-HRM IN PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SECTOR

Abstract

e -HRM technology is a way of aligning and coping up with organization HR strategies, policies and practices. The e-HRM technology chains the HR function through web technology-based channels. E-HRM, leads to paradigm shift of HR function to digitization leading to dehumanization of HR function. All the services being delivered on digital platform, making HR function more IT centric rather than people centric, thus, putting a limitation on HR executive‘s role. HR executive is now supposed to play secondary role and facilitator of IT function in delivering HR services. This study has been conducted to assess the evaluation of e-HRM in private and public sector. A convenient sampling is used for data collection. Employees of public and private sectors of Bhopal City were taken for study to locate the determinants of e-HRM. A sample of 400 respondents was selected with the help of the convenient sampling method. Structured questionnaire has been used as research instrument to elicit information regarding different aspects of e-HRM especially information related to e-HRM tools. All the statistical analysis has been done through SPSS version 21.
