Detection of plant disease in India is of importance. We largely depend on plants for our everyday breathing determinants. And proper care of plants should be taken. Many studies have demonstrated that due to several factors, the quality of farm products can be reduced. Plant conditions include fungi, bacteria & viruses. Not only does leaf disease hinder plant growth but it also kills the seed. Some experts need to identify plant diseases, however time-consuming auto-identification. Certain automatic methods are therefore necessary. It is using several classification methods, like the nearest K classification device, the k-means classification device, neural networks, support vector machine, artificial neural network & fuzzy logic. It is problematic to choose the right classification method because the results will differ based on input. A survey on current methods of leaf disease detection has been presented

K-Means Clustering, Otsu Method, Color Co-Occurrence Method, Neural Networks, SVM, Fuzzy classifier, Color analysis, Feature-based rules, and KNN.
