Indian Railways is the most convenient mode of transport for large scale goods movement as well as long distance travel. In the world of technology, it is the need of the hour to opt and implement the technological changes happening all around the world and to satisfy the rapid demand of Indian consumers. The researchers have tried to give a overview of the recent trends and developments happening in Indian railways in terms of railway services such as new product development of new coaches, trains and online services such as E-ticketing, Wi-fi, etc for the betterment of consumers. The research is wholly based on secondary data collected through various sources such as Research papers, journals, websites and newspaper articles.
