Abstract
A conventional and non-conventional Knoevenagel condensation of 3-(2-(4-fluorophenyl)-4-methylthiazol-5-yl)-1-aryl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde and 3-alkyl-1-aryl-1H-pyrazol-5(4H)-one gave (4E)-4-((3-(2-(4-fluorophenyl)-4-methylthiazol-5-yl)-1-aryl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)methylene)-3-alkyl-1-aryl-1H-pyrazol-5(4H)-one. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed with the help of spectral techniques.
